Bendigo born artist Shaun Clarke works and teaches out of his home studio located 5 minutes drive from the Bendigo fountain.

Shaun studied painting at La Trobe University and graduated with distinction in 1999. Shaun works in a broad range of mediums and subjects and sees old world observational drawing as fundamental to his art practice.

He is currently working on a series of drawings made on site around the Bendigo area as well as some small still life oil paintings with a focus on light.

As well as being awarded, Shauns work is represented in local, interstate, and overseas collections and he happily welcomes visitors into his studio.
