Georgia Laughton is an interdisciplinary artist (painting, photography and printmaking) who utilises whimsy, humour and metaphors to reflect a scattering of thoughts encompassing a wide range of issues.

Whilst Laughton strongly believes in art as a form of activism, her work remains personal and grounded. Expressing the tension between the didactic and the intimate in her art, she points to her recurring theme of eggs; 'sometimes it's a metaphor and sometimes it's just an egg'.
