Lampwork

I am a Lampworker and have a working studio at the Village of Artisans, Bendigo Pottery complex, where I demonstrate the art of making glass beads and small figurines.

This a done by melting rods of glass over a lamp, winding the melted glass around a mandrel which makes the hole in the beads, continually turning the mandrel, adding dots and lines and shaping the bead.

Kids and adults love watching demonstrations throughout the day of how glass beads and animals are made. Come and visit my studio and see the wide range of beads, jewellery and giftware on display and for sale.
