Printmaker, Painter & Pastel Artist

Sylvia Hewitt is a printmaker, painter and pastel artist, with a Diploma of Visual Art. Now living here in Bendigo.

She has worked in the art industry for 18 years and has had 10 solo and numerous group Exhibitions. For the last 5 years, Sylvia has worked as an art tutor with The Drill Hall Studio, Townsville During this time, she has run regular weekly art classes in Painting Techniques and facilitated workshops for private and community groups in painting and printmaking in Collagraphs, Dry Point, Mono printing and Mokulito.

Sylvia has also facilitated regional workshops in Queensland in printmaking and Painting Techniques. Sylvia loves exploring and experimenting with different media and new techniques.
